Dr. John R. Firth, DDS, MS, earned his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Upon completion of his DDS degree, he decided to pursue his specialization in orthodontics from St. Louis University, which is one of the top orthodontic programs in the country.
Dr. Firth is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the World Federation of Orthodontics. He is currently serving as President of the Missouri Society of Orthodontics. Dr. Firth is also an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Orthodontics at St. Louis University’s Center of Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Firth grew up on a farm in Utah, which instilled a love of the outdoors. He is an avid pheasant hunter and enjoys wakeboarding and spending time on his boat. He is also a huge fan of the St. Louis Blues! Dr. Firth and his wife, Michelle, have four children and four grandchildren.
